Music Worcester proudly announces this engagement of acclaimed vocalist Lawrence Brownlee as a community benefit concert via Live Stream from Worcester’s BrickBox Theater at the JMAC.  All ticket sales proceeds from this virtual concert will be passed on to several programs and organizations addressing systemic racism and racial injustice in the Greater Worcester community. With your ticket purchase you will be supporting the Worcester Black History Project, OurStory Edutainment, and the Black Heritage Juneteenth Festival.

Following his 2018 Cycles Of My Being project, Brownlee brings a new program to Worcester: “Songs Of My Youth.”

Statement from students: The “Music, Performance, and Community” seminar announces a partnership with Music Worcester in support of the upcoming Lawrence Brownlee concert and racial justice initiatives. Members of the seminar are raising funds to sponsor this performance, serving as both a fundraiser for Music Worcester and a student introduction to fundraising and development within arts administration.
